Why do fat people drink Diet Coke?  Diet coke tastes like shit.  Why not just enjoy regular Coke?  They obviously have NO problem enjoying tons of food.  There's always that person with three plates of food at the buffet with their Diet Coke.

    I only like diet soda because I don't like how sugary regular is. I agree that Diet Coke sucks. I am not fat however.

    You are talking about me. Yes. I am fat. I do not over eat. I do drink diet soda only. And still I am fat. I don't know why!!

    I quit drinking diet drinks about 5 months ago and have lost about 40 pounds. I quit drinking alcohol and smoking cigs too. The cigs were the hardest to quit and I still think about having one every once in awhile. There is a scientific explanation which I was told at a spa I went to that explains why diet drinks make you gain weight, but I can't remember the details.

    i do agree on the eating 3 or 4 plates of food with a diet coke to drink.....it does kinda defeat the purpose, like dipping cookies in slim fast (my 7th grade teacher did that). I wont drink it cause of the research saying it causes cancer, plus it just tastes foul.

    People drink Diet Coke and eat 'diet foods' because it provides them the illusion of losing weight without having to actually workout. This allows them to indulge in even more food because they think the diet sodas will cancel out the other fatty foods they are eating.

    Fat people tend to be food addicts for the sensation it gives their brain. Aspartame provides some of that joy but without the excess sugar that is dangerous to both their pancreas and their teeth. Believe me, if you think they're fat now, just substitute their diet coke with a regular coke and you will see REAL fat people for your very first time.

    diet coke has outsold regular coke for decades. I blame it on good marketing and stupid people. makes them feel good about their fattiness
